About Quinta Boliqueime l A lust for the eye

Quinta Boliqueime is the perfect place for any family or families together. Quinta Boliqueime is a charming farmhouse that has been carefully renovated with respect for its Portuguese heritage. The Quinta is located in a quiet area with beautiful views over both the countryside and the sea. Outside you will find several terraces overlooking both the pool and the courtyard as well as the unspoilt farmland with its orange, almond and fig trees. The surrounding fields are regularly visited by the local shepherd with his flock of sheep.

Terraces around the house. Especially in the summer months, the gallery is a very popular place for young and old, where there is a ping pong table, dining table and various benches. The gallery is 34m long and ideal for enjoying in the shade. The cour is surrounded by old walls with citrus trees and a playground. Very attractive is the swimming pool of 12 x 6 m and heated, large lawn, overlooking fig, almond and olive trees. The pool house offers shade and swimming gear. The hinterland offers beautiful nature with a river for hiking, swimming and safari adventures.

The Quinta is beautifully situated in the middle of the sunny Algarve. Just 10 minutes from numerous beaches and the sea. The Quinta is close to the quaint towns of Loule and Boliquieme, yet only 20 minutes from Faro airport and the resorts of Quinta de Lago and Vale de Lobo. Vilamoura with its marina and many golf courses is only 15 minutes away by car. There is a supermarket a 5 minute drive away.

The house offers all the amenities to enjoy a great time with loved ones and friends.

A great recommendation for families or friends with 12 people!

We had a fantastic week with our children and grandchildren (12 people) to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. An authentic, large Portuguese (old farmhouse) house, fully equipped, with space for everyone and a lovely pool. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and Portugal Villas delivered everything they promised.

A very special villa

This is a very special villa with a lot of personality and very nicely decorated, with a fantastic garden and swimming pool. In the garden there are also all kinds of fruit trees, lemon, orange, almond. We stayed 3 families with children and it was perfect. Each family could have their own space (bedroom and bathroom) and there were many indoor and outdoor areas where we all (11 people) could meet and dine together. In the villa you are far away from all tourist attractions and it is very quiet and yet it is only a 10 minute drive to the beach. The supermarkets are only a 5 minute drive away. You need a car when renting from this place.

Thanks for a great vacation!

We have just had a fantastic week at the villa. It is beautiful and an ideal home for adults and children of all ages. The pool is perfect during the day, the kids loved jumping off the wall. The bbq and outdoor dining area are also ideal for evening meals for a large group. We visited some great beaches within a 30 minute drive (Villamoura and Vale de Lobo). Thanks for a great vacation!

Algarve - Boliqueime

The small town of Boliqueime, situated in the heart of the Algarve, is ideal if you want to explore various Portuguese villages and cities or visit one of the many beaches. In this village, you will find small cobbled streets, a white church, and charming restaurants and bars.

On the coast, you will discover picture-perfect beaches with impressive rock formations, caves, and cliffs. There are many lovely beaches and coves in the immediate vicinity, separated by rocks but connected by coastal paths.

There are beautiful places along the coast that are definitely worth a visit, such as Loulé (13 km), a historic town with cozy streets lined with boutique shops, delightful restaurants, and a massive market hall filled with fresh produce. Also, Olhão (37 km), a small fishing village, is definitely worth a visit.

Faro Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Within a 40-minute drive is the protected natural area of Ria Formosa, a 60-kilometer-long lagoon with a maze of islands, white beaches, and dunes featuring native plants and wildlife. Here, you can not only enjoy excellent hiking but also spot animals or go for a bike ride.

Additionally, there are spectacular beaches and coves where you can often enjoy the view all by yourself.

Rental conditions

Requirements
The rental price includes the use of swimming pool heating, air conditioning, WiFi, water, electricity and final cleaning (unless agreed otherwise). The use of wood for the fireplace is not included. The rental price is based on the indicated number of people. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, additional charges will apply. Please inform the owner upon arrival or during your stay.

Payment
A deposit of 30% is required when booking. The remaining amount must be paid, together with the deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.
The reservation is only confirmed after the payment of the 30% deposit.

Deposit
A deposit of 500 euros is required before arrival, along with the second payment of 70%.
This deposit will be credited to your bank account within 7 days after your departure if no damage has been caused. In the event of damage, part or all of the deposit may be retained, and additional payment for any damage incurred may be required.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the tenant(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:
a. If canceled up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental fee.
b. If canceled less than 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must vacate the villa before 10 a.m. on the day of departure; this is to allow for cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of accidents or incidents during your stay in Portugal, particularly in and around the quinta, regardless of the circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance.
