About De Ampersand Residence l A unique stay full of creativity and inspiration

Ampersand Residence is a distinctive townhouse in the center of Portimão, in the Algarve. The house combines comfort with a unique artistic atmosphere. Within just a few minutes walk, you will find lively restaurants and cafés in the historic center. The harbor and the beach are also nearby.

The property offers 500 m² of living space and plenty of room for a pleasant stay. Both indoors and outdoors, there are multiple areas to relax.

On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room that also serves as an art studio, furnished with elegant furniture and artworks. This floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen with dining table and a bedroom with two double beds and an ensuite bathroom. From the hallway you can access the atmospheric outdoor area with a private pool measuring 2.5 by 11 meters. This garden, with outdoor shower, cooking facilities and dining tables, is reminiscent of a riad in Marrakech thanks to its lush plants, cacti, and contrasting pink walls. Both an indoor and outdoor staircase lead to the upper floor.

The upper floor features five bedrooms, four with double beds and one with two single beds. Each room has adjustable lighting and comes with a hammam bathrobe and silent disco headphones, allowing you to listen to your own music undisturbed. On this floor you will also find two bathrooms with shower, toilet, washbasin and toiletries, an additional separate toilet, and a second fully equipped kitchen with dining table. There is also a TV room and access to the spacious rooftop terrace. The terrace offers a large covered lounge, a dining table, sunbeds, and a barbecue, making it an ideal spot to enjoy long evenings together.

Every part of Ampersand Residence has been designed with care and attention. The bedrooms feature comfortable beds, air conditioning, fans, and blackout shutters. The two kitchens are fully equipped for cooking, and the living rooms provide inviting lounge areas. Special details such as artworks, beach bags, beach towels, and a Sonos sound system complete the experience.

The location makes this house especially appealing. From Ampersand Residence you can walk to the historic center of Portimão in just five minutes, where you will find restaurants and cafés. The harbor is close by and offers the opportunity to book a boat trip along the coastline, with views of bays and caves. The beach is also within easy reach, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea.

This place is amazing and made our stay in Portimão so worth it. Not only it looks like an art gallery from the street but once you come inside, you feel like your staying in and old shop that was transformed in an exquisite, chic decor, loft style art gallery with your own inner courtyard with pool. This place is huge with over 5,500 square feet of living space. Everything is there and in abondance. We were a group of 10 and kept looking for the kids (age between 13 and 17), everyone had their space and that was a huge plus. The place is nicely located with grocery store just around the corner and amazing restaurants everywhere. The beach is a 20-30 minute walk (2km) and we did it almost every day. Portimão is an old little town that once lived out of fishery and was able to recycle itself in a cool laid back town with lots to discover

Amazing!

A fantastic, stylish place with all the amenities. A home with amazing design, spacious, and two fully equipped kitchens. Bedrooms with very comfortable beds. A pool and two beautiful patios allow you to relax. Close to a supermarket. Parking right by the house. Business trip. Despite having 8 people, everyone had their own privacy. I highly recommend it. Excellent communication with the owner.

Surprising house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the service from Portugal Villas. We stayed in the very surprising house De Ampersand Residence in Portimão. On the outside you think: 'where will I end up?' but inside it exceeds all your expectations. What spaces! We stayed with 12 people, but we never had the feeling that we were on each other's lips. Beautiful house.

Really fantastic

Communication was smooth and easy! Villa was really fantastic and exactly as in the pictures. Villa was fully equipped, really everything you need was there. Host was easily accessible for questions and we had a wonderful carefree holiday!

Rental conditions

Conditions
The rental price includes the use of air conditioning, water, electricity and the use of WiFi internet, washing bed linen and maintenance of the swimming pool and garden. The landlord takes into account the specified number of people.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 1.000,- euros. This will be returned within 8 working days upon departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of the damage may be withheld, and additional payment of any damage incurred is also required.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract, confirmation and route description. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rent
b. in case of cancellation from 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount

Arrival and departure
You can move into the accommodation after 4 p.m. and must have left the accommodation before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the accommodation.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around the accommodation caused by whatever circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance.
