About Casa la Vendola l Pestana Gramacho Golf

This beautiful spacious 4-bedroom villa is ideally situated in the prestigious Pestana Gramacho Golf resort with open undisrupted views over the golf course and 18th hole. A perfect villa for family holidays or the golf enthusiasts who would enjoy a round of golf in one of the 2 top golf courses on the doorstep: Gramacho or Pinta. The two lovely coast villages: Carvoeiro and the fishing village of Ferragudo as well as the beautiful beaches are all an easy 10 minutes’ drive away. Faro international airport can be reached in 50 min along A22 motorway. Onsite is a restaurant, two tennis courts, and a small supermarket.

Outside of the villa is a large swimming pool approx. 12 x 6m surrounded by a terrace with 8 sundeck chairs and parasols there is also an outside shower. The pool can be heated with an extra charge. Straight in front of the living room the patio doors lead out to the sheltered terrace nestled amongst colourful bougainvillea with a sun blind to provide shade. From the terrace you have full view of the golf course, the garden, and the swimming pool. Very peaceful and perfect to enjoy relaxing family meals. Private parking for up to 3 cars.

On the ground floor, the villa benefits from a bright open plan living / dining room with patio doors to the terrace and pool area with uninterrupted views over the golf course. Comfortable sofas and armchairs adorn the lounge area together with a large flat smart-TV with Netflix, Apple-TV and various other channels. There is also a nice fireplace. The slightly, by 3 steps, elevated dining area on the left hand consists of a huge wooden dining table and 8 chairs. On the right, from entering the front door you will find the fully equipped kitchen with all required equipment such as induction electric hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, big fridge, separate freezer and wine cooler. A small pantry with shelves off the kitchen.

Carvoeiro Clube is one of the most renowned resorts in the Algarve, with each individually styled villa having their own private garden and pool. It is perfectly located near the village of Carvoeiro and some of the best beaches in Europe. Guests of Carvoeiro Clube resort can take advantage of the near-by sports club and facilities of Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis.

Algarve - Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro began as a fishing village and has thus retained its traditional charm. The name "Carvoeiro" comes from the Portuguese word "carvão" (coal), referring to fishermen who used charcoal to smoke fish.

Within a short distance, you will find supermarkets such as Pingo Doce and Intermarché (within 2 km), numerous restaurants, and bars in the village center. Praia de Carvoeiro is a beautiful beach just 500 meters from the village center. Another alternative is Algar Seco: a unique rock formation with caves and natural pools, only 1 km away. Fort of São João do Arade is a historic fort from the 17th century, located 3 km away.

Additionally, enjoy the natural areas of Carvoeiro, such as the "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina," a protected natural reserve about 50 km away with pristine beaches and coastal hiking trails. Another beautiful park is the "Parque Natural da Ria Formosa," a natural reserve with lagoons and islands located about 60 km away.

The international airport of Faro, located approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Carvoeiro.

Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rental price includes the use of water, air conditioning and electricity (including washing of bed linen, etc., maintenance of the swimming pool and garden), and the use of internet WiFi. Not included is the use of the central heating. And wood for the fireplace. The rental price is calculated on a maximum of 8 people.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 30% you are requested to pay the deposit of 500 euros. This will be returned on departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, and additional payment of any damage incurred is also required.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract, confirmation and directions. The reservation is only final after payment of 50% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Tourist tax
Up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights, all guests aged 13 or older will be charged. These costs can be paid at the park reception during check-in. The following costs will be charged:
Low season, November 1 to March 31: 1 euro per night per person
High season, April 1 to October 31: 2 euros per night per person

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the rent.
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must leave the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around Casa Christina caused by whatever circumstances.
